Raspberry Red Pepper Monte Cristo

2 Eggs

4 Slices of sturdy white bread

2 Tbsp Mustard

2 Tbsp Mayonnaise

1/2 lb Thick sliced baked ham

1/2 oz Shredded Gruyere Cheese

Lakeside Gourmet Raspberry & Roasted Red Pepper Jam

2 Tbsp Butter

Optional: Garnish / toppings: Powdered Sugar, Maple Syrup, Salt & Pepper to taste.

1. Beat eggs in a shallow dish. (Large enough to fit a sandwich) along with a few pinches of salt and pepper (if desired). Set aside.

2. Assemble sandwiches with mustard, mayonnaise, baked ham, Lakeside Gourmet Raspberry & Roasted Red Pepper Jam, Cheese, Salt and Pepper (to personal preference). 

3. Slightly compress sandwich.

4. Over medium heat, melt butter in skillet. Dip and coat each sandwich in beaten eggs and place in skillet.

5. Cook sandwiches 2-3 minutes on each side, until browned to liking and cheese has melted.

Let cool down and serve.
